Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them below, whether used in the singular or plural:
- ●Ceibo: the company that owns and operates the Ceibo Travel Platform.
- ●Ceibo Travel / Platform: the digital ecosystem operated by Ceibo, including its website, applications, programs, features, content, technological tools, and associated services.
- ●User: any individual who accesses, browses, registers, and/or uses the Platform, regardless of the mode of use.
- ●Services: the features, content, and tools of an informational and general guidance nature made available by Ceibo through the Platform, without implying the provision of travel, professional, or intermediary services.
- ●Policies: the set of rules, guidelines, and complementary documents governing the use of the Platform, including, among others, the Privacy Policy and the usage and security policies that Ceibo may establish.
2. Purpose and Scope
Ceibo Travel is an informational technology platform operated by Ceibo (hereinafter, "Ceibo"), whose purpose is to assist Users in searching, consulting, and organizing relevant information for the planning, organization, and development of trips.
The Platform makes available content, tools, and features aimed at facilitating access to general information for travelers, without implying the provision of travel, professional, or intermediary services.
The Platform is strictly informational and advisory in nature.
Ceibo does not act as a travel agency, intermediary, representative, agent, advisor, or guarantor of services provided by third parties, nor does it offer legal, immigration, health, medical, or professional advice of any kind.
Use of the Platform does not create any contractual relationship other than that arising from these Terms and Conditions.
3. Scope of Services
The Services currently available on the Platform include, among others:
- ●Consultation of visa and entry requirements by destination country, including information on visa types, eligibility conditions, and maximum permitted stays.
- ●Registration of the User’s passport-issuing country and expiration alerts, with advance notice of up to ninety (90) days before the expiry date.
- ●General information about international destinations, including health requirements, recommended vaccines, climate conditions, and documentation needed for travel.
The information, content, responses, suggestions, alerts, and features available on the Platform:
- ●Are provided for general guidance and informational purposes.
- ●May be based on public sources, third-party information, or data entered by Users.
- ●May be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or not applicable to each User’s specific situation.
Ceibo does not guarantee the accuracy, currency, completeness, or applicability of the information made available. The User understands that the information obtained through the Platform is not sufficient on its own for making personal, commercial, or travel decisions, and must be supplemented and verified through official sources or qualified professionals.
4. User Responsibility
The User is solely responsible for:
- ●Their use of the Platform and any information obtained through it.
- ●The accuracy, truthfulness, and currency of the data and information they provide.
- ●The decisions, actions, or omissions they make as a result of using the Platform.
All decisions made by the User are made at their sole risk and responsibility.
The User agrees to hold Ceibo harmless from any third-party claims arising from misuse of the Platform, breach of these Terms and Conditions, or information submitted by the User.
5. Registration and Submitted Data
To use certain features of the Platform, the User may register and provide personal information.
The User declares that the information provided is accurate and agrees to keep it up to date. Ceibo does not verify or validate the information submitted by Users.
All matters relating to the processing of personal data are governed exclusively by Ceibo’s Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
6. Use of the Platform
Use of the Platform is limited exclusively to the purposes and modalities set forth in these Terms and Conditions. Any use other than that established herein is expressly prohibited.
The User agrees to use the Platform in a lawful, diligent manner, in accordance with applicable laws, these Terms and Conditions, and applicable policies.
The following is expressly prohibited:
- ●Scraping, crawling, harvesting, or any automated, bulk, or systematic extraction of data, content, or information from the Platform by any technical means, including bots, scripts, spiders, crawlers, or similar tools.
- ●Accessing the Platform through automated means, robots, or bulk access systems not expressly authorized by Ceibo.
- ●Reproducing, copying, distributing, commercializing, sublicensing, adapting, or otherwise exploiting the content, data, or features of the Platform without Ceibo’s express written authorization.
- ●Using information obtained through the Platform for commercial, advertising, or data mining purposes, or for creating derivative or competing products or services.
- ●Circumventing, attempting to circumvent, or bypassing security mechanisms, authentication, access controls, or any other technical measures implemented by Ceibo.
- ●Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to obtain the source code of the Platform or any of its components.
- ●Engaging in any improper, abusive, fraudulent, or bad-faith use that affects the normal operation of the Platform or the rights of Ceibo or third parties.
- ●Creating fake accounts, multiple accounts, or impersonating another person.
Violation of any of these prohibitions will entitle Ceibo to immediately suspend or terminate the User’s access, without prejudice to any applicable legal actions.
7. Policies and Amendments
Ceibo may modify, update, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time, as well as its internal policies, including usage, operational, and security policies.
Any material changes will be communicated to Users at least thirty (30) calendar days before they take effect.
Continued use of the Platform after that period has elapsed will constitute acceptance of the updated versions.
8. Updates, Adaptation, and Platform Availability
Ceibo may adapt, modify, update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Platform, its programs, features, or content, for technical, operational, commercial, or security reasons.
The Platform is provided on an as-available basis, without guaranteeing continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation.
9. Account Termination
The User may request the cancellation of their account and stop using the Platform at any time, through the mechanisms made available by Ceibo.
Ceibo may suspend or terminate, temporarily or permanently, the User’s access in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions, prohibited use of the Platform, or when required by security, legal, or technical reasons.
10. Support
Ceibo may offer general support or technical assistance services related to the use of the Platform, which will be provided on an availability basis and without guaranteeing specific response times.
Support does not constitute professional advice and does not imply any obligation to achieve a specific outcome.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, its content, trademarks, developments, software, databases, data structures, algorithms, designs, and other intangible assets are the exclusive property of Ceibo or are used under license.
Use of the Platform does not grant the User any rights over such intellectual property. The extraction, reproduction, distribution, or any form of exploitation of the Platform’s content and data without Ceibo’s express written authorization is expressly prohibited, including any form of scraping, data mining, or automated data collection.
12. Force Majeure
Ceibo shall not be liable for any failures arising from events of force majeure or acts of God, including circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
13. Severability
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires, without prejudice to applicable mandatory provisions.
